whew. got back from dawn's pretty and cosy home at potong pasir(:

ahh. her house is just SO CONDUCIVE for studying. i MUST make my new house at bayshore park a really comfy one too. and i promise to be more neat now after getting influenced by neaty pie dawn.

anyway, we swam and tanned for like almost 2 hours? ha. so im kind of browner now. still got a wee bit of the yellow element. but these days, i just dont get red anymore. maybe its because i put tanning oil? lol. but the rest who does the same thing get red too. why cant i?);

anyway, we studied after that. and i SPENT the whole afternoon at dawn's house just trying to digest THERMAL PHYSICS TWO. drats. i seriously suck. im gonna draw up a study plan later on. it doesnt work for me ALL the time, but who cares? i've just gotta remind myself that i have 3.5 weeks left, and minusing all my leisure time away, its probably 2 weeks or so?

anyoway, i realised that in JC, theres just NO time for u to slack. holidays are never considered holidays. cos our midyrs are after our june hols. but guess what? after hardcore mugging for 2 years, u get a 7-8 month break! yepps. im looking forward to that. and i definitely wanna do great for As. who doesnt? so yepp. i hoped that i've just influenced u with my positive attitude to STUDY, MUG and learn new stuff during the hols.

today was kind of fun yet irritating for me la.

to start the day off, choir was 10am in school. apparently, mediacorp came down again to film VJ CHOIR! the good news was that i stole a bit of the limelight today! cos i was one of the whistlers in pamugun. ahha. but quite sad la, my fringe hasnt grown long enough. but i think shud be able to catch the cool me on Channel NewsAsia. lol. the fatty at the first row.

then, it was super sunny during noon. so i flew home(okay, i took a bus to bayshore park), and met my sis there and went swimming. tanned a lil lil while, and swam for a bit and the skies became grey. so by the time we went home it was DRIZZLING(again!). damn.

just now, went with the class people to watch X MEN THREE at lido. jan, camy, wenhui, darren, jixian, johnnie, shang, malcolm, jian han, yan long & shaun went too. haha a mini class outing. i think i din really enjoy that movie was due to the fact that my contacts( I JUST OPENED A NEW PAIR TODAY) started shifting like mad. cos i think it was really really dirrty. damned. couldnt enjoy the show at all. even after the movie, the contact madness persisted. i had to blink my eyes constantly la. then, we walked from lido to wisma, trying to source for a dinner place. in the end, we settled on MACS at lucky plaza.

MACS again. im getting fat! i just had a fillet burger in the afternoon and now, a mcchicken at night. drrgh. then, i was wondering if i could really fly home. cos contact madness almost made me mad too. luckily, my sis called me! she was just opp me la, at wisma. and she asked if i wanted a lift home. Last thurs, we were given a half day on friday to support the bball girls at toa payoh stadium. btw, they played against rj and lost 47-57 and thus they clinched 1st runnerup. thats commendable although they did not win in the end. afterall, im sure everyone has put in their best. who wouldnt want to win?

This friday, we're most probably getting a half day again. Because we might be celebrating the glories of winning championship in either or hopefully all of the finals that are happening this week. 1. Badminton finals. (today, shall wait for tmr to hear the results) 2. Soccer girls(wee, hope our class get chosen so we can go support vivan on wed) 3. Hockey girls 4. Hockey guys 5. Soccer guys(Mj VS Vj again. lol)

Lets move back to the topic. did u remember that VJ symphonic band went to hawaii in april or something like that and clinched a gold? i mean, hello, thats an international competition and they had to compete with so many diff nations to clinch that gold. okay, im not sure overall how many golds there are, but im sure they were great.

Then, we shift the limelight to VJ CHOIR. we won the GRAND PRIZE in riva del garda. Can you actually imagine that we firstly had to win all the other choirs(no age limit, meaning there could be really pro & experienced & mature singers competing with us) in the sacra/mixed youth category. then, we had to proceed to competing in the finals where just 8 choirs were chosen. these 8 choirs are the top of each category in the competition. This implies that each choir were actually of VERY high standard, thus being able to be the category winner. In the end, not only were we category winners, we even beat the other 8 choirs flat down by winning the BEST AUDIENCE AWARD(the audience sitting there were given the chance to vote, and majority voted for us! there werent even any singaporean aud participating in the voting and we actually still won it!!). we also clinched the GRAND PRIZE! (meaning that both the judges and audience think we are the best among all other world class standard choirs!)

to put it across simply, its like VJ soccer guys or girls playing in the World cup and they clinched the championship. CAN U IMAGINE THAT? i mean now its just inter-school competitions and the school has already shifted all the focus to them. imagine vj sports teams participating in the Olympics or prestigious competitions. Do u actually understand what i mean?

and when band and choir actually gain the highest award available in our overseas trips, we dont get what we deserved. im kind of disappointed. maybe its just the trend to be like WOW when some sports team clinch the championship and just an oh cool, the choir got the grand prize? nevertheless, i still have to say that the school is still supportive of the performing arts group but they are just paying more attention to our sports instead. kind of sad. ahh.

did u realise that vjc actually focuses a lot more on sports than our performing arts? i heard that thats the exact opposite for hci. Hci has a lot of national players in their sports yet they are more concerned about their performing arts group.

today was fun. i mean i went to sch for 2 periods of geog lecture, then poned physics lecture cos it was conducted by goh ke liang, and i mugged in the library! thereafter, went for 1.5 periods of super slack gp where we only played some globalisation game and the teacher let us off when we were supposed to have 3 periods of GP! after a period of maths tutorial, i zhao w/o gg for pw. haha.

so i went with yt & shuwei to starbucks. b4 the seat even got warm, thong dragged shuwei home and it was romantic time btwn me and yuting): haha. we sang slack and gossipped until may finally arrived. did i mention i tried understanding geometric series too? lol.

then michelle fee and yilin came and take cab and fetch me to bugis. haha. chatted crapped and shopped. wah lao, niang niang qiang fee became so girly and china after being influenced by the RICH SHOPPERS, yilin and michelle. draats. haha bought an espirit shirt btw. wee hee. its so fun to shop! GREAT SINGAPORE SALE COMING LA. 2 months somemore! woohoo.

0905: swimming and tanning session begins

1030: shud be pretty bored. bathe.

1115: reach home and rest and mug for a lil while.

1230: after that, maybe i go play badminton with class ppl or go watch movie with yuting maymay and pignose. hehe. think i will choose the latter though. hoopahoops.
