Have you ever wondered what if the whole world has forgotten about your existence?
Walking towards the local supermarket, you see familiar faces all around you, the noisy cashiers and scanners reverberating in your ears, the ladies dressing in casual wear, the men in tee-shirts and shorts, children pestering their parents to purchase their desired items, shopping assistants patiently standing by their products, smiling politely at the customers... and you, were just an invisible soul that is lurking by the shelves, staring at those around you.
Maybe you felt a little cold in the supermarket, that's probably not your fault. The emptiness in your heart and your hunger to be realized are chants that are echoing in your mind, yearning to be fulfilled. Maybe you thought that you should go up to them to say 'hi', that's probably natural. The tendency for one to be social may have engulfed the current frozen imprisonment that you are in. Maybe you know that they don't know you. That is something that you believed in, for no one gives a damn about your existence.
Why? How? Questions start to enter your mind. It doesn't seem to make any sense at all, as you saw your neighbors pushing a trolley of goodies right across you. It was cold. Chilling. The world seem to be oblivious to you. Is this a dream? Why don't anyone stop to look at you for a moment? The desire to rise from the unknown and the eagerness to respond has almost made you berserk. You wonder, 'Why don't anyone know who are you? Am I always hiding the real me?'
The trapped soul remains in entanglement until today. Can you find the lost soul and rescue it before it's too late?

Spontaneous (Thursday, June 18, 2009 / 12:49 pm)
TADA! The friendly HP laptop salesperson at the PC show! Suddenly I recalled the night when we ate orh-mee-sua at kembangan and played lan at katong on friday night. Since the title for this entry is SPONTANEOUS, I guess this fits the bill. I still recall throwing dagger eyes at jam when she agreed to zhao's insane request of playing lan at 1am when we had to wake up at 730am the next day. Anyway, it was fun being the infected except for the part where kasster shot me twice or thrice in a row. Dang!
The second part of this spontaneous entry - Fishing! It was really super duper ultra spontaneous. The westies called with the intention of meeting up after their Tanjong Pagar interview. Being the 'spontaneous' eastie, I decided to meet them since they were visiting the friendly east!:D And since jam were late to meet her friends for pelham, I psychoed her to come down to my place for a swim. Spontaneously, she agreed! Haha and she was coincidentally at the bedok mrt station when I told her about the plan! So she alighted and I drove her back to my place. Went for a semi-swim, since the goggles broke once jam got down into the water, and I had to swim a few laps without goggles hahaha.
After the swim, met up with sann kass zhao - the long distance blood related cousin/siblings and jam left for her chompchomp dinner. Anyway, it was a super windy day and especially so at my balcony, as you can see from the photos below hahaha.
And guess what happened next?
6 shots is synonymous with eating/feasting/gluttony. So we headed down to the lagoon and I ordered the same old dishes - stingray, kangkong and lala. Hahaha I'm so boring that I'm giggling. Okay that doesnt make sense, nono its a paradox! lol lesson 103 on literature terms.
Someone suggested fishing, so we decided to fish since the westies figured they wouldnt be visiting the east that much, sigh. The following photos show the courage of a very brave soul, also known as chubbo. I've been fishing since last year, probably 7 or 8 fishing trips at the jetty. Yesterday, was the very first time I dared to hold the wriggly scaly fish by the gills and remove the hook from its mouth. I'm terribly pleased with my outstanding courageous behaviour. Haha kudos to jam as well, after screaming for the 27th time, she decided to be as brave as me.

We caught so many fishes, I guess they weighed about 5kg or so. 2am-9am fishing was definitely awesome except for the fact that I had to wake up around 12noon for tuition and a spontaneous picnic with TUP:D

We were just in time for the helicopters with the 6storey tall singapore flag. Haha, truthfully speaking, I'm not a patriotic person. I never understood why people had to visit the padang or wherever they celebrated the national day parade during national day.

Okiedokes, I'm rather restless now. maybe I should swim again, been swimming faithfully for the past 2 days already cos I've been accumulating quite a bit of fats recently, oh no!
Anyway, if the hospitality girl is reading this down under, please stop reading my blog and start studying faithfully for your exams. Before you know it, I'm back in NTU, rambling and procrastinating about school work and it'll be your turn to go skiing and blog about happy photos:D
Weekly Updates (Tuesday, June 16, 2009 / 4:19 am)
Once again, I've been taking a long break from blogging. Have been working at the PC Show since last thursday to sunday. It's definitely a good experience since I learnt a lot about notebooks and their specs. Moreover, the company of friends/colleagues is rather fun as well! Most importantly, it's really a lucrative job!
40hours of standing. 40,000 words per day. Repeating the same verses for at least 150 times a day. These activities have caused my legs to ache on the first day; created 3 ulcers and made my mouth sore on the second; caused dry and cracked lips on the third and finally my low voice went down by a semitone after the fourth. This shows the extent we're willing to work as long as the job pays well! Anyway, I'm damn glad I got the job! Made my holidays more fulfilling and definitely, I've some money to spare now as long as my pay reaches my bank account soon!
Speaking of spending money, oh well, today's a perfect day to illustrate this example.
Bascially, the introvert a.k.a me, was involved in very spontaneous activities today which is the contrary of what I'm interested in usually.
1. Supposed to meet lyn, jam, des and kass at 1pm at newton mrt. In the end, I woke up at 1pm. So I finally reached balmoral plaza at 215 and was in time for 2 xiao long baos, some zha jiang mian, a dou sa puff, a couple mouthfuls of fried rice and.. that was it! The bill came and I gotta pay 27bucks for it because the other smart friends of mine ordered some pork leg and chicken that cost a bomb!
2. Halfway during my half an hour lunch (2:35pm), my dental receptionist called and reminded me of the dental appt. She said, "Wan Ting, remember your appointment is at 3pm okay?" I replied, "Yup, it's on the 15 of June right?" She answered, "Yes, and today's the 15." OMG. I couldnt believe my ears, so I rushed down and reached Ubi in another half an hour's time. Didnt even have sufficient funds in my depleted bank account to pay for dental. Freaking depressing.
3. Met bc for the 8:30pm drag me to hell. It was definitely a 3.3/5 horror show for the shock and sound elements that boosted my heart rate to at least a 103heartbeats/min. And the twist in the story was good as well, at least thats what I thought initially. So, okay, take note: 8:30pm Drag me to hell at P.S.
4. Met up with the rest to watch drag me to hell at 11:45pm again! ZOMG. I almost died. Twice in a row, horror show = NO NO. I almost fell asleep halfway during the movie and it was definitely worthwhile to spent 6bucks hearing friends scream and watching their shocked expressions. And it was followed by supper at beach road. Such unhealthy lifestyles gotta go soon! I need to start my swimming regime again tmr!
What a tiring day, and I realised my first tuition this wednesday would clash with the wednesday picnic! Damn. I hate rearranging schedules. Zzzzz.
Gotta start revising my p6 math syllabus soon! Oh well, I guess I'm off to bed.

Haha alright, credit goes to josef tan as well but piao's my h3 buddy who's willing to forgo her homecooked dinner in order to accompany me to lavender to eat frog legs!:D And my vj life would have been boring without her constant suan-ing.

And I'm so broke I think I have to stop relating to my human touch that much and stick to staying at home instead.
