I recently fell in love with a song that I saw in a commercial ad in Perth. I guess most of you would know what I mean, since I'm randomly spamming my online contacts with that song. Haha, it's called Mad World. I heard the original from gary jules on a Perth telly, then jan sent me the version by Lambert. Both are really good:D

Just came back from the happy potter movie at suntec. Feeling kinda drained now and my voice is like 35% gone due to the shouting during pre camp earlier on. Oh man, I hope we did an average job on the first day although many were looking listless. Anyway, it kinda reminds me of how old I am and how time really waits for no man. Barely a year ago, I was a freshie too, knowing no one in the group at all except for some familiar faces whom I saw at vj before.

Well, glad I made the first step, or rather the effort to know them well! Otherwise, I wouldn't have such a great group of friends - 6 Shots, who brings laughter and brightens up my life in NTU and we are even going for classes together:D

How wonderful.

Okay, before I get carried away, I decided to attempt blogging one of the longest entries in a million years despite the fact that I gotta wake up early tomorrow for another 20laps since I'm kinda like eating dessert now. Ugh.

Went for camy's birthday celebration and I ended up as the chaffeur. Cool as well since none of them sat in my car before. Haha and this reminds me of how nat put down my driving skills, and he thought I just got my license a month ago. ^%#&@*#!

Anyway it was quite fun camwhoring with the shades/geeky glasses. Now I know why amer and jan's pictures are always full of them, that's cos its their main camwhore equipment!! Hahaha. Had dinner at ichiban boshi and once again, chatted and laughed at retarded qq until eleven plus where we all headed home and I sent the easties back. How kind! Hahaha. (P/S: if jamster reads this, no, I'm not kindhearted! HAHA)

Anyway, I've been missing out on ALL the 51 outings after JC life ended. I feel so unpatriotic to the class hahahaha then again, it's not as if I'm the type who goes to school 5 days a week for every lesson. So oh well, but it's definitely great meeting the geog girls:D

Took budget Jetstar which somehow didnt really feel like a budget flight because by adding the expensive cost of my last minute Visa application + $25meal on Jetstar with free flow of drinks + last min booking of air ticket, it probably amountedto 400+ abit. Haha, and reminder to all reading this: YOU NEED TO APPLY VISA TO GO AUSSIE.

















Pretty sunset on the plane. But, the camera was kinda lousy.. so the photos.. oh well. I'd definitely get a good Canon camera if I can go exchange next time:D

















My first time staying in a backpackers' hostel. I recall booking a few in Vietnam but we ended up staying in minimal stars hotel for the same price. What a good deal. Anyway, 6 shots/TUP, we need to go backpacking soon! It'll be ultra cool cos we can HTHT in like a 12Mixed (Girls/Guys) Dorm for the whole night:D And the cost will also be damn cheap. Yayness:D
















And then the next night, I stayed at a rustic B&B accommodation in Freo! Looks really cool unfortunately the fireplace's a fake. Haha, but there was electric heater too, which didnt cover my side of the bed. How cool is that. Lol in the end, in the middle of the night, the side where my sis slept on was just too freaking hot that she felt like her legs were burning, so she turned it off. LOL.

Some terms to know:
1. B&B=Bed and breakfast
2. Freo=Aussie slang for Fremantle (A pretty port city 30mins drive away from Perth city)
















Had the famous fish&chips at Cicerellos. And they have this cool pager shit, where once your circular pager rings and the red buttons light up, you can go collect your order at the counter. How interesting, just that it gets mildly annoying when you hear pagers beeping all over in the restaurant during your meal.

Continued camwhoring...

At the Round House. Basically the whole trip was just too chillpill and relaxing that I didnt bother reading up about the history of the monuments/attractions. Anything that was F.O.C and nice, I camwhore, then zhao. Haha.

Okay, I took like 500 photos in 3 days.. and thats after I deleted all the random miscellaneous shots in the camera. Hahaha, to think I initially didnt expect any more than 100 photos.

See the collage above, it looks damn real right! It's actually a model display in a shopping centre. It seems to be modelled and made by a few old guys who stay in chillax Freo town.

This is the award winning Freo Prison where I went for the torchlight tours, and there were actors trying to scare us amidst the ghost stories that the guide was narrating. Pretty good experience:D I'm a brave soul, as always! HAHAHA.

At the Freo Markets, of which I probably took 3.5mins to cover that place. It's really.. pathetic if you compare to Chatuchak. Haha. Ok, I shouldnt compare I know. My bad.

The pretty rustic accomodation! With a doctor liquor store opposite that looks uber cool.

Went to drink beer (Bright ale) at Little Creatures, a famous brewery there.

The next day, the weather was so good (I regretted not going to Rottnest Island), but yeah, since I cant go to the island, I went to the South Beach to camwhore.. and camwhore.. and yeah, you get the picture.

One of the many cafes in Freo that was in the cappuccino strip called Gino's. Has really cool store decor!

Headed back to Perth City and the next day we visited Swan Valley! Apparently, it's a winery region where people mainly visit it to taste wine.. not in my case:D

It was a Sunday, and there's like less than 5 aussies on the train. Like OMG, you dont enjoy such luxury in little humid red dot Singapore.

Was touring with 4 Jap girls and a taiwanese family. And the jap girls were so fascinated with every single animal they saw, like the alpacas (in the camel family, never knew), and they go kawaiii-nehhhhhh(hold the neh for at least 10seconds please).

OMFG. CANNOT TAKE IT. I AM NOT AN ANIMAL LOVER HAHAHAHAHA.

But since we werent interesting in wine tasting, and we kinda in the same tour group, we ended up looking at alpacas and kangaroos instead. Thank goodness we werent allowed to go near them heh!

Since the rest were looking at some shitass alpaca fur clothing that firstly cost a bomb, and secondly I didnt really find a need to equip myself in alpaca thick fur clothing in little humid red dot singapore, I went down to continue with my camwhoring:D

Went for a break at a brewery and drank a bit of beer. Haha basically I was camwhoring with my sister's beer, I drank mocha instead (my favourite drink in perth besides lemonade) cos I was afraid my face would turn pink, just like how it did after drinking at little creatures the previous day.

Found another nice spot to camwhore. Haha the question is how did I manage to camwhore despite being in a mini tour group? Answer: When others taste wine, and decide if they should purchase, I go out to the wilderness and check out sceneries to take photos instead. Thats how we managed to take hundreds of photos in a few days.

Went to buy the overrated nougats in kasstie's terms. Haha and I didnt give them out today. I have this feeling I'll end up eating them all.

Stayed in the luxurious scandinavian Miss Maud Swedish Hotel!

Tried their scarsbourgh dinner and breakfast buffet. Really a spread, but I'm a picky eater.. Haha.

Last day, I think I took only like 15photos or less, because I was so tired shopping at harbour town. Spent like a whooping 7hours there (comparable to bkk) but I only bought things from Jayjays, cotton on and cotton on body. Haha practically spent an hour in cotton on, cos the sale was sooo good. Spent about 70 aussie there to get a pair of shoes, polo tee, scarf, skinnies! How fruitful!

It's so boring after 6pm in Perth that we sat down to drink coffee and read their newspaper for like 2hours before we set off for the airport. Haha, anyway perth's kinda cool to visit because the train system's rather well developed and one can easily drive to the outskirts (not too far away as well)!

Alright, I'm too tired to continue, decided not to make this post that lengthy as well, since no one really reads it except for chubbo in another 10years' time where she starts to reminisce her past. Haha, and I regret not blogging about my sydney/melb trip a year ago. Aye!
