Sleeporexic (Wednesday, September 22, 2010 / 12:34 AM)
I don't want to be sleeporexic.
Sleeporexic
- anorexic in the sleeping aspect
I've been surviving on 4-6 hours of sleep per day recently, a vast difference from my sleeping patterns the previous weeks.
On a happier note, I'm exuberant about certain incidents today and I had a long talk with an entrepreneur tonight. He worked in several continents prior to his current work, Europe, Australia, Asia, you name it. Starting from scratch, he never believed in working for people so he independently started out his career with businesses of all sorts in a bid to raise capital and simultaneously seek interest in whatever he does. After the initial years, he settled down in China and finally carved a name for himself to date.
I feel so proud of his achievements and I'm glad to say that that entrepreneur is my dad. Nope, it's not Father's Day but it's rare to have long talks with my dad considering the fact that I only see him around in Singapore 25% of the time.
Okay, I will consider sleeping soon. I hate the feeling of lying on the bed, with your eyes wide open, feeling like your mind is in an active state despite being awake for more than 20hours in the day.
Goodnight world.
